For two consecutive summers I served as a recreation leader at my local summer camp where the fun never stopped. In my final year, I was promoted to the co-leader of the Second Grade group (the “Super Stars”) and worked full-time to ensure a safe and happy environment for children to play and grow.

The EDH CSD hires some of the most talented and energetic young people to run their recreation programs. Throughout my time at Kydzone I worked with over 100 incredible team members to put on 20+ events for our campers. We worked hard to put on a uniquely stimulating and consistently fun place for our campers to spend their summer.
Fun Fridays.
Every Friday at Kydzone we partied hard with a wacky “mash-up” theme. Everyone was encouraged to dress up for a costume competition and the day was packed with extra fun activities to celebrate the end of the week!

Our leadership team took extra care to make this program not just a summer job, but an experience for growth and development. We participated in weekly staff meetings, team bonding activities, as well as skill building workshops to become even more powerful leaders ourselves.
